For a truly massively-expandable storage solution you cannot get better value than one of our custom-built 19" rack-mount 16-bay units! Every drive is mounted in its own lockable caddy. We are showing an 8TB array here, using 8 x 1TB SATA drives, but of course we will quote for any other configuration up to 32TB. It is also possible to stack further units up by using an SAS expander card - we can advise. Our sample price here includes an Atto 4-port PCI-Express SAS card and cables. If you have an Apple X-Serve, this is a massively cheaper option for expansion than an X-Raid unit, and also does not lock you into using over-priced Apple drive modules. Warranty is 2 years on the enclosure and manufacturer's warranty on the hard drives of between 3 and 5 years. We can advise on drive options.
